Flo Lamp

Project brief: Create an SCP-inspired, adjustable and minimalist lamp at a low consumer cost with the ability to be 'flat-packed' in some regard.

Designed as cost-effective, bespoke, adjustable, and portable lighting for young adults for their new homes. Mimicking the flow of the room it's placed in, the Flo lamp has a beautiful and fraile lampshade of a twisted and flowing design; the Flo lamp can also be height-adjusted at the base to increase/decrease ambient lighting in the room or subsequently, directed lighting beneath. With its lighting cable snaking up the spine, the adjustable aspect and the lampshade itself, the Flo lamp named itself during conception.

Made from 4 metal components, 5 pieces of hardwood dowel, a light, and 5 3D-printable parts, the Flo lamp is affordable, simple and refined, from ideation to conclusion.
